During the winter transfer window, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Giovanni Reyna was on the verge of leaving Signal Iduna Park, but everything fell apart because of his compatriot.

Details: According to Football Transfers, the American was set to loan Reyna to RB Leipzig after the "Bulls" loaned Elif Elmas to Torino. However, the deal collapsed after Borussia Dortmund failed to secure the signing of Rayan Cherki from Lyon.

The president of the French club, John Textor, despite a verbal agreement with the "Bees," blocked the transfer, claiming that the German giant did not show him respect. As a result, Reyna will remain on Borussia's bench.

Reminder: It was previously reported that Chelsea might purchase the "Bees" winger Jamie Gittens for a sum of 100 million euros.
