Manchester United is considering strengthening its coaching staff and has shown concrete interest in Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks.

According to TeamTalk, Michael Carrick would like to have the specialist on his team permanently if he is appointed to the role. Carrick is already planning the possible structure of his coaching staff and views Danks as one of the key candidates. The 42-year-old is currently working at the Munich club under Vincent Kompany, with whom he previously collaborated at Anderlecht.

If Carrick is appointed as head coach on a permanent basis, Danks could become part of the new backroom staff, which already includes Steve Holland and Jonathan Woodgate. It's worth noting that in December 2022, Danks joined Middlesbrough, where he reunited with Carrick and quickly became one of his most trusted assistants.
