Reunion with Messi unlikely? Di Maria has not yet agreed on a contract with Inter Miami

Angel Di Maria has recently been linked with a move to Inter Miami. Rumors suggest that the winger could reunite with his long-time Argentina national team partner, Lionel Messi, in Florida. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Di Maria has not yet reached an agreement with the American club.
Inter Miami has shown genuine interest, but as of now, there is no deal in place with the player. Di Maria will become a free agent on June 30 when his contract with Benfica expires.
Previously, it was reported that Di Maria would meet with the management of the Portuguese club to discuss his future. It is also possible that the 36-year-old player could extend his contract with the vice-champions of Portugal.
Recall that Angel returned to Benfica in the summer of 2023. This season, he scored 17 goals and provided 13 assists in 48 matches. Currently, he is with the Argentina national team and preparing for the upcoming Copa America.
