Returned to Turkey: Mauro Icardi is already back in training with his club

Galatasaray star Mauro Icardi has already arrived in Turkey and is back on the training pitch at his club’s base. The footballer shared a photo from the session on his Instagram page.

Icardi posted a shot of himself in Galatasaray training kit, jogging alongside one of the coaches. The Argentine also added red and yellow heart emojis, along with a lion, to the picture.

Let’s recall that Mauro Icardi missed almost the entire previous season as he was recovering from an injury suffered last November. The forward returned to individual training only in April, and rejoined the squad sessions in May.

But even without Icardi, Galatasaray handled business, clinching both the league title and the Turkish Cup. The team’s top scorer was Victor Osimhen, on loan from Napoli. Now, the Nigerian could be signed on a permanent deal, which would make him a serious rival for Icardi up front.
