Bayern is set to officially announce Dante's return soon.

Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Florian Plettenberg on his social media page X, 42-year-old Nice center-back Dante will rejoin Bayern at the end of this season.

It is reported that Dante will retire from professional football and return to Bayern as head coach of the U23 youth team after current boss Holger Seitz steps down.

In addition to leading the U23 squad, Dante will also manage Bayern’s youth team in the Youth League.

Dante played for Bayern from 2012 to 2015, making 133 appearances for the Munich side, scoring 5 goals and providing 8 assists. In the summer of 2015, Dante left Bayern for Wolfsburg in a €4.5 million transfer.
