Details: According to respected insider Ekrem Konur, the Madrid giants are considering Wolverhampton's Spanish full-back Hugo Bueno as a top candidate. The Championship club is reportedly willing to part ways with the 23-year-old for around £15 million.

However, Atlético Madrid will face stiff competition for the defender, as Newcastle United, Fiorentina, and PSV have all expressed interest in the Spaniard.

It's worth noting that Hugo Bueno has been part of the Wolverhampton setup since 2019. The 2024/25 season saw the left-back spend time on loan at Dutch side Feyenoord before returning to the Wolves squad. In the 2025/26 campaign, Bueno featured in 38 matches across all competitions for the English club, netting once.
