Remo Stars Interim Coach Sulamion Kamil Attributes 1–0 Defeat to Rangers International to Player Fatigue

Remo Stars interim head coach, Sulamion Kamil, has pointed to fatigue as the major reason behind the team’s 1–0 loss to Rangers International at the Gateway Stadium.

Speaking with the club’s media team, Kamil admitted that the players struggled to meet expectations after a demanding run of fixtures.

“We lost to a very good side in Rangers International. Because of fatigue from the many matches we’ve played recently, the players couldn’t perform to expectations. They fight to get back, but they couldn’t,” Kamil explained.

Remo Stars’ struggles continue, with the team now losing six of their last 11 Nigeria Premier Football League matches and dropping to 16th in the standings. The Sky Blue Stars will look to bounce back when they host Kano Pillars at the Gateway Stadium on November 19, 2025.
