Rematch two years later between Allen and Curtis. UFC Fight Night 240 full card

On the upcoming night, the "Apex" arena in Las Vegas, USA, will host the UFC Fight Night 240, also known as UFC on Vegas 90. The previous two events of this format featured women's fights, which didn't particularly please the fans, yet they turned out to be outstanding.

In the main event of the current show, two American middleweight fighters, Brendan Allen and Chris Curtis, will step into the octagon. Allen aims to defend his sixth position in the rankings against the fourteenth-ranked Curtis.

Initially, Allen was supposed to face Marvin Vettori, but their fight was canceled. Allen boasts an impressive streak of five consecutive victories and hasn't tasted defeat in the octagon since 2021, when he was beaten by his current opponent.

Curtis has already fought earlier this year. At UFC 297, he defeated Mark-Andre Barrio by a decision of the judges. Last year, at UFC 289, his bout with Nassourdine Imavov ended in a technical draw. Two months prior, at UFC 287, he suffered a loss to Kelvin Gastelum.

In the second most significant match of the event, American fighters Alexander Hernandez and Damon Jackson will face off in the welterweight division, affecting the positions of fighters beyond the top 15.
