Relebohile Mofokeng speaks candidly about his season with Orlando Pirates
The talented 20-year-old spoke about his final season with the Orlando Pirates and also gave a technical read on what the team did under Jose Rivero throughout the season.
The Buccaneers played their last match at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday against Magesi FC, which ended 1-1.
They finished the season in second place and booked their place for next season in the Champions League.
What Relebohile Mofokeng had to say about his season and his performance!
Speaking to SuperSport TV after earning Man of the Match honors in the Magesi fixture, Mofokeng reflected on his progress. "I believe I had a good season, but there’s always room to grow. I’ll keep pushing myself to improve," he said.
While pleased with his playmaking abilities, the young midfielder acknowledged an area for development: "Scoring is where I can get better. Creating chances and assisting come naturally to me, but I know I need to be more clinical in front of goal. With more practice, I’m confident I can improve that aspect of my game."
He also addressed the challenges of a demanding schedule, noting, “It’s been a long season, especially with tournaments like the CAF Champions League and Nedbank Cup adding to our workload. We’re not used to so many matches, but the team adapted well. Next season, the goal is to raise our level even higher.”
