A tragic incident occurred this Christmas in Brazil as a relative of Real Madrid’s young talent Endrick was killed during a shooting, reports the Daily Mail. The event took place early Wednesday morning.
The victim, Maurício Nunes Gonçalves, was the brother of the boyfriend of Lavinia Sudré, Endrick’s older sister. He was shot multiple times in the head while attempting to flee during an incident at a street bar near Brasília.
Witnesses stated there was no prior confrontation between the attacker and the victim. The investigation into the murder is ongoing, and the assailant has yet to be identified or apprehended.
Endrick has not publicly commented on the tragedy, but his sister Lavinia paid tribute to the victim in an Instagram story.

The 18-year-old joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 from Palmeiras for a transfer fee of £60 million. While still adjusting to life in Spain, Endrick has made limited appearances this season, playing 160 minutes mostly as a substitute. Despite this, he has managed to score two goals and provide one assist.
