Milan is lining up a major transfer move.

Details: Milan has opened negotiations with Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of central defender Gonçalo Inácio.

According to renowned Italian insider Nicolò Schira, the Rossoneri are considering making an official offer in the near future.

The source reports that the 24-year-old Portuguese is ready for a move to Serie A and is open to joining the Italian club. However, with his current contract at Sporting running until the summer of 2030, the Portuguese side is determined to negotiate strictly on their own terms.

According to Transfermarkt, Inácio’s current market value is €40 million. If both parties reach an agreement, the defender could become one of Milan’s marquee signings in this summer’s transfer window.
