The Egyptians refuse to stay silent after a dramatic clash with Argentina.

Details: President of the Egyptian Football Association Hany Abo Rida has filed an official complaint against French referee François Letexier and his assistants.

This was reported by Egyptian journalist Ismaeel Mahmoud.

According to the source, there is widespread dissatisfaction in Egypt with the performance of the French officiating crew in the match against Argentina, which ended in a 3-2 victory for the Argentinians.

The Egyptian side is demanding that Letexier and his assistants be suspended from further officiating following this encounter.

It’s worth noting that the defeat to Argentina was especially painful for Egypt, not only because of the narrow margin but also due to controversial refereeing decisions—an issue that could now spark an official investigation.

Reminder: Major scandal rocks Argentina national team! The FBI steps in.
