Reece James recovered and trained ahead of the Conference League match
In their last match, Chelsea defeated Leicester 1-0, though captain of the Blues, Reece James, did not participate in the game. Fortunately, he is doing well.
Chelsea's head coach Enzo Maresca announced that James has recovered and trained ahead of the clash with Copenhagen in the UEFA Conference League. Additionally, Cole Palmer and Romeo Lavia, who had previously faced health issues, have also returned to training with the team.
Quote: "Cole, Reece, and Nkunku had their first training session today since the last match. They had some health issues. They didn't train with the team yesterday, but today they did. We'll see if we can involve them tomorrow," said Maresca.
The second leg of the UEFA Conference League between Chelsea and Copenhagen will take place on Thursday, March 13, at Stamford Bridge. Kick-off is at 21:00 CET.
Reminder: Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are set to compete for the signing of Jobe Bellingham in the summer transfer window.
