Red Sea FC Triumph Over Al Tahrir to Maintain Perfect Start in Eritrea's Super Division
Asmara Stadium hosted the third week of Eritrea's Super Division A on Wednesday. Red Sea FC, the reigning champions, defeated Al Tahrir 2-0 to extend their winning run. Despite a competitive first half, Red Sea won thanks to goals from Saleh Seud and Yonatan Netsereba in the second half.
In the first half, Al Tahrir fought hard, creating plenty of scoring opportunities but not taking use of them. However, Red Sea showed their championship pedigree after the break and came out stronger. Shortly after halftime, Seud broke the tie, and Netsereba increased their lead to win all three points.
In another game, Denden FC won 1-0 against Paradizo, thanks to a quick goal from Seme Tekai in the second minute.
