Chelsea continues its global search for young, talented footballers. This time, the club has completed a transfer from Kazakhstan's league.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the London club has agreed to sign promising Kazakh footballer Dastan Satpayev, born in 2008. Chelsea will pay €4 million plus bonuses to Kairat for the transfer, making it the most expensive deal in the history of the Kazakh league.
Dastan will join Chelsea on a five-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year. The deal will take effect once he turns 18.
Notably, Chelsea is also showing interest in Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho. At Chelsea, Garnacho could potentially replace Mykhailo Mudryk, who has been temporarily sidelined following a positive doping test.
Reminder: Chelsea and Manchester City had previously approached Juventus about a possible loan deal for Douglas Luiz until June. However, Juventus currently has no intention of allowing the player's departure, and negotiations between the clubs have stalled.
