Record! Three goals by Matheus Cunha nominated for Premier League Goal of the Month

As is customary, the Premier League selects the best goal of the month, and this time, the nomination is especially unique.

Details: For the first time in history, three goals by the same player—Wolverhampton forward Matheus Cunha—have been nominated for Goal of the Month.

Two of Cunha’s goals against Fulham and one against Southampton are in the running.

Alongside Cunha, other nominees include Leif Davis (Ipswich), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Harry Wilson (Fulham), Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United), and Emerson (West Ham).

So far this season, Cunha has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists in 14 Premier League matches.

Reminder: Earlier, in the Wolverhampton vs. Bournemouth match, 3 goals were scored by the 8th minute, marking the first time this has happened since 2020.
