Reconciled? Man United's scandalised winger has returned to training with the team

A rather unexpected event happened yesterday at Manchester United's training base at Carrington, allowing the buried axe of animosity at the club to be laid to rest.

The Mancunians press office have released photos from the team's training session, revealing that winger Jadon Sancho has joined the squad.

This is quite surprising, because after the conflict last season, Manchester United head coach Eric ten Hag said that the Englishman will be able to return to the team only if he apologised to him.

At the same time, Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News emphasises that Sancho's return to training was preceded by his conversation with ten Hag. The two sides agreed to draw a line and work from there.

But, it is still clearly unclear whether this was an apology from Sancho or not, because The Athletic reporters report that Sancho will not play in the friendly against Rosenborg.
