Recent UEFA Champions League finalist interested in Newcastle winger

One of the clubs that need to sell players to fit into the financial fair-play requirements is Newcastle, and there is already one club in mind that is willing to help the Magpies with this.

According to journalist Patrick Berger, Borussia Dortmund are showing serious interest in Newcastle winger Yankuba Minteh. The 19-year-old Gambian only moved to St James' Park last year, but is already attracting the attention of top clubs.

Minteh spent last season on loan at Feyenoord, and only confirmed the intentions of the big names, scoring 10 goals and giving six assists in 27 matches of the team from Rotterdam. "Magpies", on the other hand, want £40million for their young talent, which could screen out a number of suitors for him.

Newcastle may be willing to lower the price as the month draws to a close at the end of the financial year.
