The South African club Mamelodi Sundowns have postponed their trip to Austria, where their pre-season training camp was scheduled to take place. This was reported by iDiskiTimes.
The reason for the change in plans was the tragic death of midfielder Jayden Adams. In light of this, the club’s management decided to temporarily delay the start of the overseas phase of their pre-season preparations.
The club announced that, given the circumstances, the team was unable to depart for Europe as originally scheduled. However, the preparations for the new season have not been canceled—only the departure date has been postponed.
