Tchouaméni does not hide that he acted wrongly.

Details: Today on his Instagram page, 26-year-old Real Madrid defensive midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni addressed fans following the recent scandal with Federico Valverde, which escalated into a physical altercation.

Tchouaméni admitted his wrongdoing and issued an apology:

"What happened this week in training is unacceptable — I say this thinking of the example we must set for the youth, whether in football or in school. Regardless of who was right or wrong, we must always strive for the calmest solution to resolve conflict.

First and foremost, 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐩 𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛. I know that fans, staff, my teammates, and the management are all deeply disappointed with how this season has unfolded. But disappointment cannot justify everything.

These incidents, even if they can happen in any locker room, are unworthy of Real Madrid. Especially since Real is the most talked-about club in the world.

In any case, now is not the time to figure out who did what, who said what, who was right, and who was wrong. I acknowledge the club's sanction and accept it.

We remain a family, we have disagreements, but we must always put our goals above all else." 𝐈 𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩, and I also want to apologize to all Madridistas." - Tchouaméni wrote.

As a result of the fight between Valverde and Tchouaméni, the Uruguayan received a severe blow to the face and, upon falling, struck his head hard on a table, which led to memory issues. At the moment, Valverde is at home, and his condition is described as satisfactory.

Reminder: Costly mistake. Real Madrid officially announces punishment for Tchouaméni and Valverde. What did the club decide?
