Real will offer a new contract to the 32-year-old club legend

Real Madrid plans to retain the services of the seasoned wing-back Lucas Vázquez for the upcoming season.

As reported by Marca, the club is set to offer the 32-year-old footballer a new contract extending until the summer of 2025. Vázquez himself is keen on continuing his career with his hometown club.

Real Madrid is content with how effectively Vázquez enhances the squad's depth. With an increased number of matches expected in the upcoming season due to the expansion of the Champions League and the Club World Cup, Real Madrid deems a player of Vázquez's caliber necessary.

The 32-year-old defender has been a part of Real Madrid's first team since 2015, previously playing for Castilla and spending one season with Espanyol.
