Benfica head coach and former Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has commented on the possibility of taking charge at Madrid next season.
Details: Speaking to the media, the Portuguese top club's manager, José Mourinho, addressed Real Madrid's reported interest in him and stated that the Madrid side have not made any contact.
There is a 99% chance that I will stay at Benfica, because I have a contract with Benfica. I haven't heard anything from Real Madrid yet, but none of us are stupid, and there are conversations between Jorge Mendes, the president, and the club's board.
Obviously, something is happening, but, as I said, there is no signed contract, no contract on the table, no conversations between the president of Real Madrid and me, nor conversations between anyone important in the club structure and me.
Talks between Real Madrid representatives and Mourinho have reportedly been ongoing for some time, following the decision regarding current Real coach Álvaro Arbeloa, who will leave the club this summer.
