The second defeat to Arsenal knocked Real out of the Champions League, but the bad news for the "Los Blancos" fans didn't end there.

Details: For the Madrid team, this defeat marked their sixth in the current European season, a number of losses unprecedented for Real. Previously, the "Los Blancos" had lost a maximum of five matches.

This happened in three instances, two of which were in the UEFA Cup during the 1984/1985 and 1985/1986 seasons. Back then, Real had a habit of losing the first matches and thrashing their opponents in the return legs.

The last instance was in the 2000/2001 season. At that time, the Champions League featured the now-defunct two group stage format. Real lost to Spartak and Anderlecht, as well as Galatasaray and twice to Bayern Munich in the playoff round.

In the current season, besides the two defeats to Arsenal, Real suffered setbacks in the return leg against Atletico, as well as with Liverpool, Milan, and Lille in the league stage.

Reminder: Earlier, Real goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois expressed his dissatisfaction with how his team performs in attack.
