Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his desire to keep goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the team on a permanent basis. Kepa is currently playing for Real Madrid on a one-year loan.

A Relevo source reports that the Italian coach intends to convince the management of the Madrid club about the need for a transfer. It is noted that if the transfer is successful, Kepa will become the team's second goalkeeper after Thibaut Courtois, while Andrei Lunin will leave the team.

This season, Kepa played 12 matches for Real in various tournaments, conceding 9 goals. The player’s contract with Chelsea is valid until June 2025, and the estimated cost of the player, according to the Transfermarkt portal, is €18 million.

Let us remember that Kepa was acquired as a replacement for the injured Thibaut Courtois, who was out of action for a long time due to a knee injury.
