Real Madrid will not have a main goalkeeper until the end of the season
Carlo Ancelotti was unable to decide on a definitive starting goalkeeper for Real Madrid for the remainder of the season, according to Defensa Central. The Italian coach had initially suggested that he would make a decision based on the performance in the match against Alaves (1-0). However, it has been reported that Ancelotti will continue to rotate between Kepa Arrizabalaga and Andriy Lunin until the end of the season.
As a reminder, Real Madrid's primary goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, suffered a cruciate ligament injury, ruling him out for the entire season and the 2024 European Championship.

In the current season, Lunin has played in 9 matches across all competitions, conceding 6 goals, while Kepa has featured in 15 matches, conceding 12 goals.
Real Madrid concluded 2023 as the leader of La Liga. However, they are only ahead of Girona based on additional criteria.
