Real Madrid will announce Mbappé's transfer on Monday

The Mbappé transfer saga is coming to a close. It's no longer a secret that the forward, as a free agent, will sign a contract with Real Madrid. The main question remains the official announcement.

According to L’Equipe, the Madrid club will announce the agreement with the 25-year-old Frenchman on Monday, June 3. However, Mbappé's presentation as a Real Madrid player will take place after the conclusion of Euro 2024 (July 14), as the player is focused on representing the French national team.

It's worth noting that the Madrid club will sign the Frenchman as a free agent. His contract with PSG expires on June 30. This season, Mbappé scored 44 goals and provided 10 assists in 48 matches.

Interestingly, the total amount PSG saved on the striker is around 80 million euros. The club believes it has every right not to pay the player a loyalty bonus.
