Real Madrid's management has decided to continue their collaboration with center forward Joselu.

According to AS, this summer the La Liga leaders will buy out Joselu's contract from Espanyol, who still holds the player's rights. The buyout option in the loan agreement amounts to 1.5 million euros.

Joselu is a product of Real Madrid's youth academy. Throughout his career, he has played for Alaves, Newcastle, Celta Vigo, Hoffenheim, Eintracht Frankfurt, Stoke City, Deportivo La Coruna, and Hannover.

In the current season, the 34-year-old forward has played 39 matches in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 3 assists.

Earlier reports indicated that Manchester United was interested in Joselu, but the player declined such a transfer.
