Real Madrid is known for its intense competition in the goalkeeper position, yet one of the team’s young talents is set to extend his contract with the club.

Details: According to Relevo, 19-year-old Spanish goalkeeper Fran González, currently the third-choice keeper behind Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin, is expected to sign a new contract with Real Madrid soon.

Although González has yet to debut for the first team, he remains optimistic about earning more playing time in the future. The club has faith in his talent and may consider a loan move in the summer to help him gain experience at a higher level.

This season, González has featured in nine matches for Castilla, conceding 10 goals.

Reminder: Today, there were also reports about Arsenal’s interest in Real Madrid’s rising star Arda Güler.
