Real Madrid targets Enzo Fernández but avoids direct payment

After a slow start, Enzo Fernández has established himself as one of Chelsea’s key players. This has caught the attention of Real Madrid, and president Florentino Pérez has reportedly devised a plan to bring the Argentine to the Bernabéu.
Details: According to The Sun, Real Madrid is indeed interested in Fernández but does not intend to pay for him outright. Instead, the club plans to propose a direct swap, offering Aurélien Tchouaméni in exchange for the Argentine midfielder.
While Tchouaméni is a highly rated player, it remains unclear whether Chelsea would be interested in a deal involving a more defensive-minded midfielder.
Reminder: The Frenchman has made 15 La Liga appearances for Real this season, starting every one of them. Overall, Tchouaméni has featured in 24 matches for Carlo Ancelotti’s side during the current campaign.
