Real Madrid players frustrated with fitness coach Pintus: Club could part ways
Real Madrid has been plagued by injuries in recent months, with the latest blow coming during their 4-0 win over Osasuna, where three players picked up injuries. The squad has reportedly found someone to blame for this recurring issue.
Details: According to The Athletic, dissatisfaction is growing among Real Madrid players regarding the methods of fitness coach Antonio Pintus.
The players believe that Pintus’s techniques are outdated and no longer suitable for the increased physical demands of modern football.
Most of the team’s injuries have been muscle-related, which the players directly attribute to Pintus's training regimen.
If this trend continues, the club may consider replacing the fitness coach.
Pintus has an extensive resume, having worked at Juventus, Inter, Chelsea, Marseille, Monaco, Palermo, and Sunderland before joining Real Madrid.
Reminder: Over the weekend, Real Madrid’s central defender Éder Militão suffered a second ACL tear in just over 18 months, adding to the club’s injury woes.
