In the summer of 2024, Real Madrid was relatively quiet in the transfer market, but that is set to change dramatically next year.

According to AS, Real Madrid plans to target Manchester City's midfield maestro, Rodri, after the conclusion of the current season.

The Madrid club sees Rodri as the ideal successor to Luka Modrić, whose contract with "Los Blancos" expires in the summer of 2025.

However, Rodri is not the only player on Real's radar. The club remains interested in acquiring Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alphonso Davies as well.

Rodri's contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2026.

Recall, this summer, Carlo Ancelotti and the management of Real Madrid had a disagreement over tranfers.
