Real Madrid Open Talks Over Move for Ghana Star Caleb Yirenkyi Ahead of 2026 World Cup
Real Madrid are reportedly showing strong interest in highly rated Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi, with the Spanish giants already making early inquiries ahead of a potential transfer move.
According to Farzam Abolhosseini, Real Madrid have also reached out to former player Michael Essien for insights and references on Yirenkyi, as the club continues its scouting process for the midfielder.
His current club, FC Nordsjælland, are reportedly valuing the 2026 World Cup-bound player at around €30 million. Yirenkyi enjoyed a breakthrough season in Denmark, making 29 appearances in the recently concluded campaign. His performances earned him significant recognition, as he was named Danish Superliga Young Player of the Year as well as FC Nordsjælland Player of the Season.
