Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has broken his silence regarding his alleged relationship with former adult film actress Claudia Bavel, addressing the topic on his X account.

Recently, Spanish magazine Diez Minutos published photos showing Casillas and Bavel separately leaving the same hotel in Barcelona. Following the publication, Bavel appeared on De Viernes, a Telecinco program, where she shared details about her connection with the football legend.
She criticized Casillas, calling him neither a great lover nor a generous person. In another interview, when asked about their relationship, Bavel simply stated that both she and Casillas were "free people."
Casillas reacted sharply to the claims, announcing that he would take legal action for the violation of his privacy and honor while seeking damages.
"I have NEVER negotiated with my private life, I have not granted any exclusives nor have I profited from what I consider more personal and reserved; what's more, I have always asked for respect and I have kept myself away from gossip, rumours or speculation," Casillas stated.
