Real Madrid is interested in Chelsea’s captain

Real Madrid has set its sights on Chelsea and England international as a replacement for Dani Carvajal. Real has been monitoring the London club's captain for a while now, and according to Mundo Deportivo, the defender is highly regarded at the Santiago Bernabéu, particularly by coach Carlo Ancelotti. James has a contract with Chelsea that runs until 2028, and there have been no indications that he plans to leave the team anytime soon.
Carvajal has been a part of Los Blancos for a decade, amassing 386 appearances and achieving remarkable success with the Spanish club. He has won three La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies, and clinched the UEFA Champions League title on five occasions. However, Real Madrid believes that his best years are behind him, and they are in need of a replacement.
According to Transfermarkt, Reece James has a market value of €55 million. He came through Chelsea's youth ranks and made his debut for the senior team in 2019. To date, he has played 151 matches for Chelsea. He made his international debut for England in 2020 and has already earned caps in sixteen national team matches.
