Real Madrid is reportedly planning to acquire Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea and is willing to offer ten million euros for his services, as reported by Defensa Central.

The president of the Madrid club, Florentino Pérez, deems the Spaniard as the ideal candidate for the role of the second goalkeeper. It is noted that the "Galácticos" are ready to pay 10 million euros for Kepa. The player himself had previously expressed his desire to remain with Real Madrid in the future.

According to Transfermarkt, the current market value of the Spanish goalkeeper is 18 million euros. He moved to Chelsea in 2018 from Athletic Bilbao, signing a seven-year contract with an annual salary of 10 million euros.

The transfer fee amounted to 80 million euros, making him the most expensive goalkeeper in the history of football and the most expensive Spanish player. At Chelsea, Kepa replaced Thibaut Courtois, who transferred to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid loaned Kepa from Chelsea in August after Thibaut Courtois suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The Spanish goalkeeper has played ten matches for the Madrid club this season, conceding eight goals, and keeping five clean sheets.
