Real Madrid Eyes New Right-Back Amid Carvajal’s Injury
Real Madrid is actively searching for a new right-back after the season-ending injury to Dani Carvajal, who suffered a torn ACL. The club has reportedly shown interest in Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contract expires at the end of the season, making him a feasible target.
Additionally, Fichajes reports that Real Madrid is considering a move to bring back former player Achraf Hakimi, currently at Paris Saint-Germain. However, securing Hakimi’s signature won’t be easy, as Manchester City and Liverpool are also in the race.
Liverpool views Hakimi as a potential replacement for Alexander-Arnold should he move to Real Madrid, while Manchester City sees him as a possible successor to Kyle Walker, whose contract runs until 2026. The competition for Hakimi’s services could set the stage for an intense bidding war among top European clubs.
