Real Madrid boasts the most commendable record for goals conceded, starting from the 2019/20 season
Since the 2019/20 season, Real Madrid has conceded 129 goals in the league, as reported by Marca.
The defense of the "royal" club stands as the finest among European championship teams. Over the past four seasons, Real Madrid has conceded 129 goals in 167 matches. Consequently, the team has averaged 0.77 goals conceded per match. In second place is PSG, with 139 goals conceded in 155 matches – a rate of 0.89. In third place is Atletico, having conceded 141 goals in 166 games – an average of 0.84.
As for this season, the team has conceded nine goals in 15 matches, marking the best club performance in history. The previous best was 11 goals in 15 matches during the 2019/20 season under the guidance of Zinedine Zidane.
It is worth noting that representatives of Real Madrid will once again attempt to negotiate with PSG striker Kylian Mbappe in January. The player will be given 15 days to consider the offer. If he agrees, he will join Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 as a free agent, as his contract with PSG will expire.
The situation will change if Mbappe signs a new contract with his current team before January 1. If not, Real Madrid will present their proposals to the player.
