Real Madrid? Bayer top manager names Alonso's next club

This season, Bayer's form has impressed everyone: fans, experts, coaches and, remarkably, top clubs that want to invite one or another representative of the "pharmacists". Earlier, the team's head coach Xabi Alonso refused to leave Leverkusen, but it may happen in the foreseeable future.

The head of the board of Bayer Fernando Carro does not rule out the departure of the Spaniard, and even named his future club:

"Yes, it is possible that one day Xabi will become head coach of Real Madrid," Carro said in a conversation with As.

It was the fans of the royal club who were most excited by the Spaniard's words that he would not be leaving Bayer in the summer, counting on Alonso to be Carlo Ancelotti's successor at Real.

The Italian's contract runs until the summer of 2026, but it is possible that a coaching change at the Santiago Bernabéu will happen in a little over a year's time.
