Real Madrid are targeting the transfer of the world champion

After the failure of the transfer of Leny Yoro from Lille, Real Madrid have not given up their intentions to sign a centre-back, and it is known in which direction the "creamy" have been working.

At the Santiago Bernabéu were interested in the candidacy of Tottenham player Christian Romero, and contacted the club from the British capital, but as specified by the Argentine media, "Spurs" did not show any interest.

The London club have made it clear to Real: the 26-year-old world champion is not for sale for any money, and Tottenham have no intention of entering into any negotiations at all.

Romero's contract runs until June 2027 and Transfermarkt values the Argentina player at €65 million. The centre-back scored five goals in 34 games for Tottenham last season.
