Real informed Liverpool of intentions to sign Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool's leading trio is gradually slipping away from Anfield, as one of the club's key players has already found a new destination for the end of the season.

Details: According to talkSPORT, Real Madrid has informed Liverpool of their intentions to sign defender Trent Alexander-Arnold. As such, the club doesn't need to formally announce their interest, as they can begin negotiations with the player for a pre-contract agreement starting January 1.

This would allow them to finalize the deal once his contract with Liverpool expires. However, Real Madrid wants to show respect to Liverpool, though the exact manner of doing so has not been disclosed.

Reminder: It was previously reported that another Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, whose contract expires in June 2025, has yet to attract the interest of Saudi clubs.
