Real Madrid continues their preparations for the 2024/25 season. The Spanish champions have announced the squad numbers their players will wear in the new season.
Notably, star newcomer Kylian Mbappe will begin his career at his new club wearing the number 9 shirt. This is the same number Cristiano Ronaldo, Mbappe's idol, wore in his first season at Real Madrid.
Mbappe has spent most of his career wearing the number 10, but that number is occupied by the legendary Luka Modrić.
Camavinga, who previously wore number 12, will now wear number 6. Valverde will switch from number 15 to number 8, previously worn by Toni Kroos. Tchouaméni will change from number 18 to number 14. Arda Güler, who played with number 24 last season, will now wear number 15.
Real Madrid will play their first match of the season on August 14. It will be the UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta.
