Ready to stay in Munich! Serge Gnabry close to contract extension with Bayern
Serge Gnabry is set to extend his contract with Bayern Munich in the near future.
Details: According to Florian Plettenberg, all signs point to an agreement being reached—it’s just a matter of time, with the official announcement expected at the start of the new year.
Reports indicate that the Munich club is planning to sign the 29-year-old winger to a new deal running until 2028.
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl was impressed with Gnabry’s form and professionalism as far back as the summer of 2024, and views him as one of the team’s key leaders, both on the pitch and in the dressing room.
Earlier reports suggested that Liverpool and Juventus were battling for Serge Gnabry’s signature.
It’s worth noting that this season, the German has featured in 21 matches for the Munich side, notching up five goals and nine assists.
Reminder: Bayern are considering young Guinea-Bissau striker Franculino Dju as a transfer target.
