“Ready for WAFCON 2026” – Rasheedat Ajibade Sends Strong Message Ahead of Super Falcons Camp
Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has sent a clear message ahead of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, declaring that she is fully prepared for the tournament as Nigeria steps up its preparations.
The forward has been working on her fitness during the off-season and recently shared photos and videos of her training sessions in Mallorca, where she has been working alongside Nike and 292 Performance.
Taking to her social media account, Ajibade wrote:
"Off season, on purpose. Mallorca with Nike and 292 Performance. Ready for WAFCON 2026 for God's glory."
Ajibade heads into the tournament in high spirits after captaining the Super Falcons to a record-extending 10th WAFCON title in Morocco, where she was also named the competition's Most Valuable Player.
The Super Falcons are expected to open their final training camp in Morocco on July 15 as head coach Justine Madugu prepares his squad for the continental championship.
