The 37-year-old German tactician was officially appointed as RB Leipzig's head coach today.
Details: According to Leipzig's official X page, Ole Werner has signed a two-year contract with RB Leipzig. Patrick Kohlmann and Tom Cichon will join him as assistants on the coaching staff.
Werner previously managed Werder Bremen, leading them back to the Bundesliga and guiding the club to an 8th-place finish last season. Despite this achievement, Ole left the team at the end of the campaign.
The Red Bulls themselves endured a disastrous season, finishing 7th under interim head coach Zsolt Löw and, for the first time in eight years, missing out on European competitions.
