RB Leipzig Sign Nigerian Winger Suleiman Sani from AS Trenčín

RB Leipzig have officially confirmed the signing of highly rated Super Eagles winger Suleiman Sani from Slovakian First Division side AS Trenčín, strengthening their attacking options with one of Africa’s promising young talents.

The 19-year-old has put pen to paper on a long-term contract that will keep him at the Bundesliga club until June 30, 2031, and he will wear the number 18 jersey.

Sani’s rise has been rapid. After starting out in the Nigeria National League (NNL) with Akwa United, the right-footed winger made the move to Europe in September 2024, joining AS Trenčín. Since then, he has gained valuable top-flight experience and developed into a key attacking presence for the Slovak side.
