Having joined RB Leipzig last summer from Leganes in Spain, Yan Diomande has been given a nickname by his teammates, who call him “the German”. The reason behind this nickname is that the Ivory Coast international has become particularly punctual since his arrival in Germany. This behaviour has not gone unnoticed in the dressing room. In an interview with Sky Sports, Yan Diomande explained that this discipline is linked to the local culture.
