Rayadas and Pachuca to Clash in Campeón de Campeonas, Set for First U.S. Venue
The Liga MX Femenil has announced that the 2024/2025 Campeón de Campeonas will take place on July 16 at Toyota Field in San Antonio, Texas. As reported by ESPN, it marks the first time the prestigious match will be held outside Mexico, reflecting the league’s growing push to engage international audiences.
Rayadas de Monterrey will face Pachuca in a one-off final. The northern powerhouse secured their spot by winning the Apertura 2024 and will be seeking their first Campeón de Campeonas title after falling short in both of their previous appearances, against Chivas and Tigres respectively.
Pachuca, meanwhile, earned their place after clinching their first-ever Liga MX Femenil title in the Clausura 2025, defeating Club América in the final. This will be their debut in the Campeón de Campeonas, with a chance to join Tigres and Chivas as the only champions of the inter-seasonal trophy.
Since the match's inception in 2021, Tigres has won the title three times, while Chivas claimed one victory—via a penalty shootout win over Monterrey.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm (CDMX) / 9:00 pm ET. The final is expected to be another major milestone for Liga MX Femenil, which saw a 21% increase in attendance during the Clausura 2025, drawing over 547,000 fans throughout the season.
