This season, Roma has changed three head coaches. Currently, the legendary Claudio Ranieri is at the helm, and he has shared insights on the search for a new manager.
Details: In an interview with Il Messaggero, he stated that Roma's owners are very close to deciding on the future head coach. The club's management has opted to follow the English model, identifying 7-8 candidates and starting to narrow down the list.
Quote: "Close, very close. I'm confident a good coach will come," Ranieri stated.
The Italian specialist also admitted that he has never met Ten Hag. The Dutch coach was seen at a Roma match, but Ranieri did not meet him.
Quote: "Do you believe I don't know him? I've never met him. I read that I had lunch with him, but, trust me, I've never met him," Ranieri added.
Reminder: We previously reported that Gasperini has already agreed to a three-year contract with Roma, which will take effect after this season concludes. It remains unclear how the departure from Atalanta will be managed.
