'Rangers Will Look Like the Current Super Eagles Squad's – Ilechukwu Eyes National Team Standards for Rangers

Rangers International coach Fidelis Ilechukwu says his experience with the Super Eagles at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will help transform the Enugu club as they chase domestic and continental success. Ilechukwu was part of Nigeria’s technical crew that guided the team to a third place finish in Morocco.

Speaking after returning to club duties, the former Plateau United coach said exposure to elite players and coaches sharpened his vision and technical philosophy. He believes those standards can be replicated at club level. “In the next few years, Rangers International will look like this current Super Eagles squad… Hopefully, the state and the people will benefit from what we are building,” he said. He now turns attention to league.
