Ramos was close to a move to Latin America. It is known what prevented the move

At the beginning of July, 38-year-old defender Sergio Ramos left Sevilla and is now looking for a new job. This could have been one of the Latin American clubs, but the deal eventually fell through.
Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, the services of the former Real defender were offered to Brazilian club Vasco da Gama. Ramos' agent entered into negotiations with the Latin American collective, but the latter came out of the talks, as the defender asked for a very large salary.
Recall: Earlier it became known that another former player of the Spanish club - ex-Atletico Madrid forward Memphis Depay is close to moving to Brazil. He intends to sign a contract with one of the giants of local football - Corinthians. Ramos himself has previously been linked with clubs from Saudi Arabia.
